Installing Roller and Venetian Blinds

Shades Roller blinds are the simplest of window treatment models available.
They offer a broad choice of materials and designs. Often, they normally arrive with the required elements that
are indispensable for their successful installation such as the mounting bracket, flange fitting, flange roller

1. Firstly, offer one of the brackets up to the required location either inside or outside the window frame and
mark the holes which the screws will be located with pencil.
2. Carefully drill the appropriate sized hole into the pencil marks and place wrawl plug.
3. Using the supplied screws offer up the roller blind bracket and screw into the holes affixing the bracket
securely.
4. Place the roller blind into the now affixed bracket and hold the second bracket into the other end whilst
offering up to the final location you wish to position the roller blind.
5. Now mark the final brackets drill holes as in 2.
6. Repeat step 3.
7. Carefully slide the roller blind into the brackets and stand back to admire your handy work!
Installing Venetian Blinds
Venetian blinds are horizontal blades which when turned through the mechanism provide excellent shade which can
be easily controlled. They provide some of the best window treatment properties and design elements whilst giving
you privacy and also help reduce energy loss.
Typically made from wood, metal or in most cases plastic are sold in standard lengths, but can be adapted to your
measurements.
1. Begin by recording the width at the top and bottom of the opening by providing a clearance of ten millimetres
on each side.
2. Ensure the blinds are set at a distance, so that movement of the shade will not interfere with the
handle.
3. Mount the rail supports as per the provided instructions or by following the above steps. Venetian blinds are
usually maintained by a latch pivoted on each side of the bracket.
4. Unlock the mechanism by pulling the rope and lower the blades. Adjust the tilt of the blades through the stem
plastic stick.
